- approved candidates are contacted by Universal Rosscam, usually by telephone, and notified of approval to commence work;
- the conditions of the assignment are reviewed to ensure they are understood;
- the nature of employment relationship is reviewed; and
- Universal Rosscam conveys information as to start date, place, makes appointment to complete basic paperwork and site training details procedure with respect to compensation package.
The Universal Rosscam recruiter will then carry out the administration induction. As part of the standard induction process the recruiter would:
- ensure that the employee understands that their employment relationship is with Universal Rosscam;
- make clear the contractual nature of employment;
- ensure the employee receives and signs a written agreement covering hourly rate and conditions of employment;
- provide detailed information on benefits and deductions and ensure payroll and TD1 forms are completed by the new employee;
- explain security procedures;
- ensure that the intellectual property/confidentiality agreement is signed;
- provide information on the supportive role of Universal Rosscam regarding future questions and problems;
- explain timesheet/payroll delivery procedures and issue timesheets where applicable;
- explain client policies and procedures such as sickness notification, security check, confidentiality agreement, causes for dismissal, and smoking policy; and
- provide worksite employee and health orientation including & training and any other industrial health and safety orientation.
This process is customized to meet your specific requirements. At the point of administration induction, a Universal Rosscam recruiter provides copies of documents provided by Client such as the Business Conduct, Contractor Orientation; would make sure the documents were understood by the new employee; and, answer any questions and obtain the required signoffs. The recruiter would also provide information on Client’s administrative processes .
